Herbal Garden
DAV Public School Dwarka made a
herbal garden in the school premises planting herbs of different countries like
Nepal, Australia, USA, Kenya, India etc. The children prepared this herbal
garden under the ISA Project- Herbs for
Wellness.
Students were appraised of
medicinal and economical benefits of the herbs like Basil, Thyme, Neem, Mint,
Oregano, Dandelion, Ginger etc.
Students also labeled the plants
and highlights the parts of the plants useful for medicinal use.
They also made herbarium file and
of various herbs from different countries.
